3 Days and Counting

The first event of the WSOP 2009 is the “Casino Employees No-Limit Hold’em Event” which is a 2 day event, scheduled to begin on May 27 at noon.  For poker players, the next two months is a little like Holy Week for Catholics.  And since I’m both Catholic and a poker player, I should know.  :)  Thousands of poker players and wannabe poker players will be tolerating the Las Vegas heat to compete over the next few months.  It’s going to be heaven.

I’m not yet sure when I’ll be able to get to Vegas to cover some of the events, but I’ll definitely be keeping up on the events and reporting here.
